Earth Month

Did you know that the Office of Sustainability organizes sustainability in the curriculum workshops for faculty? Each spring for the past 10 years, UNC Charlotte faculty have led multi-day workshops to help colleagues network across disciplines, share ideas and discover new resources and pathways to incorporate sustainability into their courses.

Curious about how trees and landscapes affect UNC Charlotte and the Charlotte region?  Attend this semester’s Student Sustainability Summit to learn from campus researchers, student leaders and Charlotte-based organizations about trees and landscapes on campus and in the Charlotte region.

UNC Charlotte’s Office of Sustainability dedicates April as Earth Month, bringing students events on campus to celebrate.   Through the month of April, UNC Charlotte will be celebrating Earth Month 2024 with a variety of events, such as film screenings, garden sales, tour series, and workshops, starting on April 3 and continuing through April 27.
