The Niners Bike team (formerly the Business Niners) from the Belk College of Business recently won the top fundraising team category in Sustain Charlotte’s Biketoberfest by raising $1,000.

UNC Charlotte has made the Princeton Review’s 2025 Guide to Green Colleges, an annual publication that recognizes academic institutions that foster a culture of environmental responsibility and demonstrate a commitment to sustainability.

UNC Charlotte was honored as a top performer for data accuracy in the 2024 Sustainable Campus Index published by the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education.

The National Association of Fleet Administrators has recognized UNC Charlotte with a 2024 Green Fleet Award. The honor was announced during the Sustainable Fleet Technology Conference and Expo recently held in Durham, North Carolina.
